Hepsia's File Manager section enables you to administer your website files by means of simple point & click actions. Right-click shortcut menus offer rapid access to different file manipulation options, while user-friendly drag-and-drop functionality will allow you to upload new files from your PC in no time. You will also find integrated file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to pack and unarchive files with ease too.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your desktop PC. The in-built drag-and-drop functionality will permit you to easily move files between your PC and the web server. Just select the file that you wish to upload from your desktop PC and then drag it into your browser. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your hard disk. Plus, you can download files and even folders to your desktop PC by pushing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager user interface, you can create a brand new file or folder with just a mouse click. All action buttons are handily located above the file/folder list and you can update your files effortlessly. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, preview the contents of a file or edit its permissions, delete a file, and so on.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager GUI, you will be able to compress and uncompress all types of files. It does work remarkably fast - just select the files you want to make a zipped archive of and click the Compress button. You can even select the type of the new archive (.rar, .zip, and so on). It is just as easy to extract the contents of an archive to a specified folder.
File Editors
With the File Manager user interface, you actually do not need any third-party software tools in order to modify your files. There is an image viewer, which allows you to view the contents of your image files to get a clue about how the images will in fact show up online. What's more, you will find several in-built file editors, which will give you full authority over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are intended for more knowledgeable users, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can view all HTML source code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced users.
